Let It Snow

Nikon D70 @ 31mm, 1/200 sec, f/4, ISO 200
Previous · Current · Next

I had some free time before class today so I had a little wander around Glasgow. Inspiration was somewhat lacking... it even snowed a little and all I got was this one.

The Invisible Tree

I managed to grab this shot on the way home from uni today. The sun made a rare and short appearance when it was on the way down and created this shadow on the wall.

Blue Chips

Nikon D70 @ 29mm, 2.5 sec, f/8, ISO 200

I pretty much stayed in all day, so I had to look inside for inspiration... inside my computer. The blue LEDs from the fan provides the lighting.

About Me
I’m 22 years old, live in Scotland, and for my sins am just about to embark on a career in law. I became seriously interested in photography about a year and a half ago when I bought a Fuji S7000 to document my travels in Europe. What started off as a hobby quickly escalated into an obsession, but I haven’t looked back since. A year later and I’ve upgraded to a Nikon D70 and have been enjoying every minute of it.

The Site
This blog began life on Friday 18th February 2005. The purpose was two fold: firstly to give me an incentive to use my new (and expensive) camera as much as possible, and secondly to allow me to write a little about the photographs I was sharing. I’ve certainly succeeded with the former and I’m sure that my girlfriend would testify to that. I try my best to update the site on a daily basis with a photograph I’ve taken that day, but for one reason or another this isn’t always possible.

Commenting
I love hearing what people have to say about my work – whether it’s good or bad. If you have a critique to give then please do so. I’m always willing to learn and enjoy seeing the pictures from a new perspective. It’s all subjective anyway.

Purchase
If you’re interested in purchasing a print of an image displayed on the site then please email me. You can also visit my gallery to see other images that are for sale.
