My friend's uncle, Andy Currie, has just started his own business doing photography tours of Scotland (www.scottishphototours.com) and gave us a 'freebie' today. The only problem was I had to get up at 4:45am! Now that's dedication for you.

Anyway, it was an excellent day - the weather was really good to us and it was nice taking pictures all day. Andy certainly knew his stuff and knew all the best places to go - it was a great learning experience.

I think I came back with some pretty nice pictures and I'll have to have a couple of them printed big. If you want to have a look at some other pictures from the day click here.

You have a real eye for composition, your images are interesting and awesome, what motivates and inspires you to photograph?

Thanks for your kind comments guys.

Peter, I really don't know what motivates and inspires me to photograph... maybe it's the challenge of capturing a moment which people will remember for being different, unique or special. A good question, i'll have to think about it properly! :)

Cheers
