Floored

Fuji S7000 @ 27mm, 1/25 sec, f/2.8, ISO 200

I think I've fallen in love with this camera again. Not having a proper macro lens for my DSLR definitely makes me appreciate the macro function of the Fuji all the more.

Hi John, what lenses do you have for your D70?

I've seen some pretty good close-ups taken with 50mm primes with close up filters. Even ~200mm zoom lenses.

But I can't comment as to how they were done, I'm still waiting for that step up to DSLR land. :\

Hey Dave,

I've only got the kit lens and a 50mm 1.8. I'll get something with more length in the future, but tbh I rarely find myself needing to go over 70mm (105mm 35mm equiv). I've seen some good close-ups with the 50mm as well, I'll have to give it a shot one day.

Cheers for the comments
