Waverly at Night

Went for another one of my wanders around town last night and key-rist was it cold. I've noticed in the last couple of months that I'm much happier with the quality of my shots (not talking about this one...) but I'm taking ages over them - probably about 15 minutes to get one shot of a scene I like. The downside of that is for shots like this one - took ages taking it and still it's only average at best. Too much going on I think.

John, what do you mean, "average at best". This is a wonderful shot. I really like the light and all the action. You can look at this picture for ages and still discover something new. This is what photography is about!
I've been watching your blog for a while, and I really like your work. It's insired me to pick up my camera again. Thanks. P.S. A bit more info on the post production work please.
