Painting with Light

Nikon D70 @ 25mm, 30 sec, f/8, ISO 200

Tried the painting with light technique for the first time on a portrait shot. Shot in a dark room, using nothing but a torch to light up the subject. Gotta try this again sometime - can get really cool results, but it's a little difficult to get the hang of.

I've tried this technique so I know how challenging it is to get the light looking as even as this. I'm amazed by how your model managed to hold so still.

Thanks, it took a few attempts to get it right. I was pretty amazed at how sharp it came out - even at 100% it looks good. Thanks for stopping by.
