My gran looked after me a lot when i was younger, so i've always been close to her, and get on with her really well. It also helps that she's a little bit crazy and will always put up with my annoying behaviour (include photography in that).

She was sitting at our kitchen table this morning and i liked the lighting coming through the window from an overcast sky, so naturally i ran upstairs and grabbed my camera. As soon as she saw the camera it was as if she turned into a child and started pulling a while load of silly faces. It must be great to be her age and still getting a lot of fun out of life.

Anyway, it was a lot of fun to shoot, and probably even more fun seeing the end results. I've got a few more to go through (quite busy with exams just now) that i'll link to eventually.

In all seriousness, these were probably some of my favourite photographs ever taken!

:)

That's a fantastic shot, John. In fact I think it's pretty much flawless!

Thanks a lot. I love the DOF you can get with the 50mm 1.8 lens. Cheers!

Certainly looks like a real character. I'm sure it must have been great fun.
